The Bridgestone Arena is a multi-purpose venue located in downtown Nashville. It was formerly known as the Nashville Arena, Sommet Center and Gaylord Entertainment Center. The Bridgestone Arena was built and completed in 1996. It's being managed by the Powers Management Company and owned by the Sports Authority of Nashville and Davidson County. The arena has a seating capacity of 10,000 for half-house concerts and 18,500 for end-stage concerts.
