About Fine Arts Building

The Fine Arts Building was built and completed in 1885 by Solon Spencer Beman. It is located across the Grant Park along the historic Michigan Boulevard District. The building was originally constructed for Studebaker Company where It got its former name. Now, the building has evolved into an art venue with interior designers, instrument makers, recording and dance studios, theaters, galleries and other businesses related to aesthetics and creativity.
