A noted National Historic Landmark,the Glessner House was designed by the noted American architect Henry Hobson Richardson and was completed in 1887. This worldy known architectural treasure is located in Chicago. A vast change from the traditional Victorian architecture styling, this large house did serve as an inspiration to a young Frank Lloyd Wright and helped to define domestic North
American architecture.
