About Rubin Museum of Art

The Rubin Museum of Art was publicly opened in October 2004. It is devoted to showcasing and preserving Himalayan art and its bordering regions, most especially the Tibetan Art. It is situated along the neighborhood of Chelsea between the sixth avenue and seventh avenue of the Manhattan Borough. The museum exhibits textiles, sculptures, paintings and ritual objects coming from the 2nd up to the 20th centuries.
