About State Museum

The Tennessee Museumís first building opened in 1937 and moved to its current location in 1981. The museum is about the great history of the Tennessee state. The museum has an area of 60,000 square feet of permanent exhibits and the hall with temporary exhibits cover 10,000 feet. The total ground area of the museum is 120,000 feet that cover three floors. The showcase of the museum of battle flags, weapons and uniforms is one of the biggest collection in the USA.
