About The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

It was established in 1857 as the first museum devoted to science and nature. The museum is a great resource of the natural history of Chicago and Child and Adult education. The museum has a green home demonstration. It also has a butterfly house with nearly 200 species variety of fascinating butterflies.

Butterfly madness
Just love the butterfly exhibit , you can commune with the beautiful butterfly's just like you were out side but there are over 200 species of them here and the kids think it is fantastic and can't wait to go see the butterfly's again. they also have a kool green home exhibit. this is a really kool museum.
