The Navy Pier was constructed in 1916 at a total cost of $4.5 Million. It is 3,300 feet long located in the neighborhood of Streeterville of the Near North Side Community along the shoreline of Lake Michigan. Now , the Navy Pier serves as a multipurpose facility with outdoor art exhibits, spectacular fireworks, exciting rides, theatrical productions and much more. Today, it is one of the most visited tourist spot in Chicago.
