Myrtle Beach

Purchased from a single family in 1881, Myrtle Beach sits in the middle of the Grand Strand, a 60+ mile stretch of serene, uninterrupted beach. The city’s warm, subtropical climate makes it an ideal location for golf courses, amusement parks and open air shopping complexes, and Myrtle Beach boasts several of each, including one of the largest water parks on the eastern seaboard and over 100 golf courses. Myrtle Beach is also motorcycle friendly, hosting the Myrtle Beach Bike Week since 1940 and Black Bike Week, the nation’s largest African American motorcycle rally. Myrtle Beach is also home to one of the largest shopping areas in the Southeast, including the 350-acre Broadway at the Beach complex and the Market Common, which is located on the site of a renovated Air Force base.
